Validation Basic Workshop - Provides an Industry Validation Overview. It was design for people with no knowledge to intermediate knowledge of validation. Frequently Asked Questions:

Do I have to be an Engineer to participate in the workshop? NO. Ever since PVSR got the CIAPR approval several persons have ask if they have to be an engineer to attend. The qualification/validation process involve several other professionals. Usually engineers have a harder time learning validation techniques than other professional like Chemist and Biologist. This is because their day to day chores involve working with documentation which is one of the hardest and important task of a qualification/validation process when engineers is not necessarily the same.

Do I need a certain education to enroll in the PVSR Workshops? NO. This workshops are design to help you understand why we validate and why we do it the way we do it. We have trained persons with the following backgrounds: pharmaceutical industry personnel (operators, supervisors managers and director) technical personnel (metrologist, mechanics and electricians), school teachers, purchasing, human resources, sales, project engineers, project managers, experienced validation personnel, recent graduated professionals and several other background. All with only one thing in common to enter or enhance their participation in the pharmaceutical Industry. Validation is the key to all pharmaceutical, medical devices and biotechnology industries.

Why so cheap? For some this is not a question but for many which have been looking for education alternatives this is their first question (there are other educational options that can cost as much as $8,000). First, we want to help Puerto Rico retain its regulated industry foundation. Second this training was originally built for our employees we just decided to provide the opportunity to the general public to take advantage of the workshops. Third, PVSR is a multidiciplinary business our primary source for income is our consulting & calibration division. We give the workshops in our office avoiding costly hotels, dinners arrangements and accommodating. In general is less expensive because it cost less to produce and all overhead cost are covered by our operating business. And fourth, we use our student database as the main source to acquire new resources, which dramatically reduces our recruiting cost.
